Best Konkani Book Award 2025

To recognise the contribution made to Konkani Language and Literature, the Best Konkani Book Award was instituted in the year 1985. The Award carries 25,000/- in cash and a citation. We have so far awarded 38 Best Konkani Book Awards.

Entries are now invited from writers and publishers of books in Konkani for Dr. T. M.A. Pai Best Konkani Book Award 2025. The book may be in Devanagari, Kannada, Malayalam or Roman script and should have been published between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2024. Last date for receipt of entries is 31st October, 2026

Please note:

1. One author should send one book only.
2. The book should be one single whole book and not in more than one parts or volumes.
3. The book to be sent should not have got any award in the past from any source be it public, private or government.
4. The book to be sent should be originally written in Konkani by the author and not the translation of any other book of any other language.
